The eye still isn't like I want it to be but it seems the more I try to fix things on this piece, more problems come up.
Acrylics, pastel, graphite pencil, on reclaimed wood panel.

I absolutely love the spatter of white on the bottom of the crow. Like starlight. Stunning work. Very magical.

There's something about the spiral at the pinion of his wing that catches my attention. The "world" within the wing is wonderful as well.

The eye is different from what you normally do. It really pops out in space whereas the head is a little flatter. Maybe that is what is bothering you? Regardless, it's very good.

Maybe that is what seems "wrong". I'm leaving it alone for now and will look at it again in a week or so.
