He's cute! (Who is he, exactly?) I like the shading on this--the hair especially is simple but clearly shows some thought.

see anime: "Full Metal Alchemist" ^_^ He's--well-he's Ed from FMA. I often over do detail on anime--I tried to keep it in the style. (but you can see I was trying not to do every single hair in his head.....just colour it-simply-ha! but my hand and brain kept saying do the hairs!! Noooooooooooo! That's not how it's supposed to look! *Whacks hand*)

I've never seen FMA. ::hangs head in shame:: I suppose you could do individual hairs but keep them all going the same direction--then it would still look simplified, etc. etc., but you'd allow yourself to do a little more detail.
