The title for this picture could either be the title it has now, but another title I thought of would be 'forgive me', but I thought it would be better if they were just meeting again.Okay, as you all know, DOBS aired on Friday, and these two episodes/one movie, renewed my love and hope for Zutara once again. Now that Zuko's going to redeem himself and join the gaang, you all have to admit that Zutara has a very big chance of happening now.
I know some of you Maiko fans are still holding out hope that Zuko will return for her, and he might have promised it in the letter he left, but the contents remain a mystery that might not even be revealed. So, I think that shipping is dead. But I'm not one to judge because our ship was nearly buried after a few intances.
'Day of Black Sun' had to be my favorite episode of this season, and what the 'Western Air Temple' has in store is something I can't wait for! I hear a lot of people finding spoilers, and I have to admit that I read one that revealed nearly the entire episode, but I'm not sure if it's true or just a fan's representation of what should happen. It was a good summary anyway. If you want to read it, just leave a comment and I'll reply with a link.
Okay, anyway, about this picture, I imagine that Zuko and Katara's relationship will build as we reach the end of this story. This is just where Zuko is begging Katara to forgive him. (This BTW, is after he officially joins the gaang, but feels as if he needs to do more to gain Katara's trust yet again.)
After Katara is left alone to do chores, Zuko walks over to her and she turns to him, telling herself that if Aang trusts him, she can too, but she's still reluctant after everything he's done to her. Zuko notices her questioning eyes and he takes her hands inbetween his as he whispers a soft 'I'm sorry... Will you please forgive me?'
I might make a comic of this because this scene is screaming to be captured by more than one picture. *Ponders*
I have many theories on the finale of Avatar:TLA, many of which include Aang or Zuko dying in the finale. I believe Aang as a larger chance because this is his destiny to face the Fire Lord at any cost, and to do that, he has to let go of Katara. But I'm still worried about Zuko... BTW, if Aang's gone, Zuko's guaranteed to be with Katara, because the creator's promised it was either Aang or Zuko.
Sorry. Just a side note...But one theory I'm more leaning to is that Zuko will somehow save Aang's life, or maybe Katara's, and perhaps even die from those wounds. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure one main character will die in the finale. All good shows typically end that way. It's sad, I know, but it's inevitable. But you never know. It is a Nickelodeon show after all.
Oh, and if you know anything about when 'Western Air Temple' will air, please let me know! Zutara Forever!

Yesss, kill off Aang because he's the tragic 12 year-old who is not only the Avatar but also in love with Katara. Nobody wants an "immature and irresponsible" Avatar to ruin the feelings of contempt of the two teenagers. Also disregard the fact that the creators have stated that the two have been the DNA for the show and that he's been in love with her for about three seasons. Any proof of Kataang is sheer coincidence and should be shoved up all their Kataang asses. Zutara is bound to happen because Zuko has tried to kill Aang and Katara for the first season, betrayed them in the second season, and has a girlfriend by the third season.
Oh sure, say Zukomuffin is GUARANTEED to be with Katara after Aang's dead but fail to mention that Aang and Katara get together after Zuko dies. Neither really HAVE to die, but in this case, for this ship to work, one of them do.
Rather, wouldn't Zuko be begging Aang to forgive him? After all, he's died once thanks to the aid of Azula? Just a thought.

Whew, I thought I was the only one fearing character death. Truthfully though, I don't think Zuko or Aang will die. I DO think that Aang will have to give up Katara somehow though, and that's not just my fangirl talking. While most episodes lead to Kataang being the obvious canon, I don't think that's how the show will end. And now that Zuko is joining the gaang, Zutara has more a chance now than ever before. While the Kataang kiss didn't set it in stone, we won't know the true winner until the end.

Excellent picture here. Very good.
However, Kataang is set in stone. You just can't argue with the pattern--look at the end of every season opener, midpoint, and finale. There's always a Kataang moment. It's a straight eight-for-eight (I'm counting "The Southern Air Temple" as the end of the beginning, because that's really where the story starts...with him realizing that he is the LAST Airbender). 108 has the smallest one, but, she's still there for him.
As for Maiko, she may be the one coming after him, judging by the one storyboard. So don't think it dead at all--merely set up for another chapter. Maybe some actual development. What everyone has been craving.
So, yes, excellent picture, but most of the reply was to your theory. ^_^ Imaginative, though. I like to see drive.
As for "The Western Air Temple" thing, that was a fake. A dramatic hoax that coursed through the fandom.
I agree with DragonJadefire, I don't think Aang or Zuko will die. I think they'll survive. Iroh, on the other hand..."Wise old man with the beard always dies."

Oh. Well, today I saw a fanmade preview. Brilliantly put together too. The fact that it was fanmade was given away when it came to the Day of Black Sun clips. It it was legit, the nickspalt would be present in the lower right hand corner. The clips for Black Sun lack the nicksplat.

Yep. Zuko Alone gave me the cute factor. And then, I just saw how much Kataang meant. And I couldn't leave then. ^_^ Because it's CANON. Because it MAKES AANG HAPPY. Because NO ONE HAS TO BE UNHAPPY WHEN KATAANG AND MAIKO ARE CANON. Aang's happy, Katara's happy, Zuko's happy, Mai's happy....with Sukka, Sokka and Suki would be happy....Toph's the type of girl who would be unhappy for two days and then just bounce back....

Zuko wasn't happy with Mai. He thought he was happy than realized he wasn't.
But, I don't want to get into a debate with you about ZUTARA vs. kataang.
I'll agree that maiko was cute back when they were kids...but now...no. Its sickening.
But, I love Zuko Alone. (If you haven't guessed my favorite character is Zuko. I 
My favorite non-ZUTARA pairing has to be Zucest of Ty Luko. (I love Ty Lee) Then followed by Zujin. I use to like maiko, before it went canon, (I wasn't serious about it, but I thought about it from time to time, to branch out and try something new, and maiko was my first choice) but then it went canon and it turned sickening. It was soo...CHEESY and stupid and...a big blah!
But! If quantum phsyics is to be believe, in another universe, we are the exact opposite. I'm a maikoian/kataanger and you are a ZUTARAIN/Taanger. Again, that is, if quantum physics is to be believed.
I've actually thought about my altered universe Avatar shipping self...and I'm amazed that in another unverse I'm a kataanger...which is scary. Back when I first started shipping ZUTARA I could see kataang happening...but now...
And I'm just rambling so, ingore half of what I said. half of it can easily start a ship war, which I don't want.
Of your ships, the only one I actually, like is Sukka. I know, I support Ty Lokka, but Sukka isn't half bad. I left the ship because in my next gen fics, I made Suki an overbearing wife and Sokka her poor hen-pecked husband.

Zutara doesn't have much of a chance. Not with the pattern of Kataang. Zuko would have to be shallow, Katara would have to be shallow...and Mai and Zuko are guaranteed to meet up again. In a cool scene that we can't be told what it is. Development will come. ^_^

...have you ever heard of the song or poem the Highwayman? If you haven't find it! The best version is by Loreena McKennitt. Its beautiful. It works for any Zuko/girl pairing a now that Sokka has a sword it works well for any Sokka/girl pairing. You should really check it out! And why am I'm tell you this...I'm listening to it. Its beautiful! The Highwayman is my favorite poem. Well, one of them. My very favorite is Cat On a Night of Snow.

Ooh, never heard of that. I'll have to look at that. But seriously check out the Highwayman, its a beautiful song and a lovely poem. Its actually a ballad to get it in a sung version otherwise it loses its mystical enchantment.

Want to hear my prediction of the ending of Avatar:
Well, according to Nick's magazine on Avatar season 3, it says Aang is NOT the last airbender. Well, my prediction is that the one of the last airbenders is in fact a FEMALE. That means Aang has to be with her in order to rebuild his kind.
As for Zutara, in order for peace to be restored from the 4 nations, two members of different nations must be together. (Remember Uncle Iroh's teachings to him.) When Azula and Ozai are defeated Zuko can step up to the thorne and end hatred toward the fire nation. His queen must be someone of kindness and motherly affactions to support him. And that's when Zutara comes in. (Notice that none of the females in Avatar have been a TRUE symbol of kindness and peace other than Katara.)
And there's more:
As you can tell in Nick's season 3 magazine. Zuko and Mai's relationship is a set up by Azula for something. (We just don't know what.) And that the shipping between Katara will either be Zuko or Aang. And if my prediction comes true.......

I don't think they were being serious about Aang being the NOT being the last airbender. Mike and Bryan did say Ozai was a cyclops in an interview with one of the admins from ASN.

The second Avatar maganzine. And the thing about Ozai was in a special interview with Mike and Bryan with one of the admins of ASN (AvatarSpirit.Net. You can go and read it there).
But I'll admit it would be cool if Aang wasn't the last airbender. I believe that there were some Air Nomads that weren't benders, and Momo had to come from somewhere (the pirate captain knew Momo was a lemur so he clearly saw them before), so I doubt he's truly the last flying lemur. I still believe that there are some flying bison.

Well...he can always reproduce with a non-bender, and there will be good chance that the baby will be an airbender. Katara's parents weren't benders and she turned out to be a bender.

I doubt either Aang or Zuko will die. Its a kids show. They can't kill Aang, he's already dead, and Zuko's death will be no serious impact to the overall plot, it'll just cause Angst. I don't think any main character will die.
