I drew this picture about a week ago and it came to me as I was listening to the song 'Teardrops on my Guitar'. This song fits Mai's feelings toward Zuko nearly perfectly! Well, except for the guitar thing. Maybe it should be 'Teardrops on my daggars or something... Never mind, that sounds stupid... Well, if you listen to the song, you'll understand the story plot that the picture represents.

I know I ddin't draw Katara's wrist bracelets, but they were becoming a pain and I remebered them after I finished shading the skin, and if I added them, it would ruin it, so I just didn't draw them. Sorry about that.

In this picture, Mai is just walking to her room when she glances over to one of the balcony's and witnesses Katara and Zuko together. She doesn't say anything, but the feelings she's had for Zuko her entire life are apparent in her tears. I hope you like it. This actually sounds like a good plot for a one-shot fanfict... *Ponders*

I am not bashing Maiko or any other coupling. I just thought this song was too perfect and I had to draw this picture. I actually feel sorry for Mai because I've had many guy friends that I've had feelings for, but that never really felt the same.
