As I have mentioned elsewhere, I had done a VERY rough, fast and dirty drawing of Megamind on the beach during my scribbling for the LiveJournal community's "Beat the Heat" week. I did a rush job making it presentable on my iPad, cheating again by using for the background part of a posterized photo I took at the beach at Delnor Wiggins State Park in Florida last October. I'm finding the iPad to be a very interesting medium, since one draws directly on it with a stylus as one would with a pencil or pen on a sketchbook. Very natural, and you're looking at both your hand and the "paper" of the screen at the same time.
