Indeed, I love it down there.
I went there about 3 months ago ( drove down from just north of London where I live), got there around 8am and the fog rolled in from nowhere. I was down to about 75 yards visibility and had to fumble my way back to the main road to find my car, over all that shingle AND carrying all my gear! LOL!

Well i live in Rye so quite nearby but i have only shot there twice. Mainly because i don't drive so all my shots are within walking distance. Great place to shoot. Yeah i hear you about the fog, me and my girlfriend got lost in the snow, check my photo "winter mist over castle waters" for story. Fog must look great at dungeness, did you get any shots?

I did get a few before it came in thick. The problem was it was so thick it was condensing on the camera and lens and it was all getting soaked, so I packed up after and while stumbled back to the car, drove over to Bexley to catch the sea over the breakwaters instead.
I just about managed to get this poor effort before giving up!

If i had the time i would. All i did was adjust the settings in photomatix to get a more subtle image and desaturated in pshop and overlayed a single colour tone.
