Description
This pony was such a challenge for me, despite the fact that she is my favorite color ever. I made her for the color swap at the MLP Arena. The only real rule in the swap was that your custom had to be mainly your partner's favorite color. Everyone supplied three things they loved as well, to give their partners some inspiration.

Colorscapesart is awesome because she loves yellow, and her three favorite things were listed as daffodils, henna, and acoustic guitars.

I tried so hard to really run with the Indian henna idea, but I'm just not that good a painter lol. Instead I went with this thicker henna-ish design of a daffodil. I am proud to say that I designed that flower completely from scratch.

I must've painted this pony at least a dozen different times with as many different designs, and somewhere amongst the many fiascos, this pony earned the nickname "the poops pony." I'd like to think she's not a poops pony anymore lol.

Her eyes and symbol are painted in acrylics, her hair is Dollyhair Gingerbread and Dollyhair Buttercreme, and her necklace and anklet are handmade with glass beads. The necklace is woven, and I have three different versions of that as well lol.

The twisty hairstyle was made using ~Suabeth 's hair styling tutorial.
