My cousin got married on Saturday and I made them a set of wedding ponies as a gift. They actually ended up on the top of the cake, although they weren't on there very well...still looked cute though. A careless bridesmaid broke the dress before I'd gotten pictures of her, but as you can see, I've fixed the break and she's no worse for wear.The bride told me she was not wearing a veil, so I just did the little tiara with ribbons. The necklace is also pretty simple, and I was going to do earrings but I hate piercing pony ears so that didn't happen lol.
Sculpting done with Super Sculpey (break fixed with Milliput), painted with acrylics, sealed with Mod Podge. Hair is....some colors I can't remember...there's two of them though.
No crits please...I'm too sensitive about this one lol.

It was by the hind foot, between the folds, cleanly snapped off. I thought I did a decent patch job lol. Yeah, I was pretty upset, but the fact that no one can tell where it was broken makes me feel better.

Sure ^_^ It's a sealer, finish, and glue product that you can pick up at craft stores. A lot of artists use it to seal their paint jobs to protect them from water and dust and whatnot. Some people use Cerama-coat as well but I like Mod Podge because it's more versatile.

I've never had it happen. I live in an area that gets pretty humid during the summer and it hasn't been a problem, but I would imagine that if you lived somewhere -really- humid, there's the possibility for issues.
