Description
As promised here's now the second version of my "Queen of Kells" picture [link] - the winter version! I hope you see the link between the title and the theme!
Enjoy!
There will be a poll and i'd be glad if you could tell me, which version do you prefer.
Mostly Painter IX (portrait and Book of Kells illumination - everthing's painted with tablet on PC), Photoshop especially for the bg.

I dont comment much these days but felt inclined to leave some feedback as for some unbelievable reason you havent received much on this.
both are gorgeous... however i think i prefer the first version, it's almost like a seamless blend of Old (book of kells) meets the multi-coloured pinstripes..
although i'm sure they'd look fantastic as a whole image together - mirroring each other perhaps. almost tempted to run off to photoshop to have a look how they look combined...

Piu' splendente e' la luce, piu' oscure saranno le tenebre.
Ju starkare ljuset, desto mörkare skuggarna.
Jo starkere lyset, jo mørkere de skyggene.
Dess sterkare lyset er, dess mørkare vert skuggane.
Guangxian yue liang, yingzi yue an.
Jo stærkere lyset, desto mørkere skygger.
Kuluma yazeed al dhau sawaad al dhulu yazeed.
Što je svetlo jače, senke su tamnije.
Quanto mais clara é a luz, mais escura é a sombra.
Hoe feller het licht des te donkerder de schaduw.
Hoe feller it ljoch hoe tjusterder it skaad.
Com més clara és la llum, més fosques són les ombres.
Cu cât e mai strălucitoare lumina, cu atât mai întunecate sunt umbrele.
