it's...different, to say the least. from reading the comments, it would seem you mean young stupid love, but the expression on her face, intended or not, leads to the now politically incorrect use of that word.
at any rate, it's quite good, the exaggerated sternum isn't something found in sketches much, which is a shame.

Some people have noted an undercurrent of violence that they sense. It was unintentional but i can see it (in the pose and sketchy lines) and find it almost flattering because i think violence is only a step away from unidealism and self criticism.

Some people seem to be offended by that title and indeed 'young stupid love' is equally appropriate but there's a heightened degree of self deprication with the use of 'retarded'. It's not the most sensitive title but i would defend it with more if i have to. Thanks for the insight though.

I'd back you up. There is a certainly a place for political correctness, and sometimes we should be able to break them, without worrying about offending others. Not that i'm some huge fan of free-speech or anything. Plus my mom is a social worker who works with special needs children, I think this is quite alright, and that you justified yourself quite nicely! 
And congrats on the beautiful DD! I could have sworn I was dev-watching you before, but I guess I wasn't! Well I am now! *evil laugh*

Thanks, you. I believe you're right. There are moments when being politically incorrect can be justified and i think it is obvious by the image that this is about self-debasement and so to censor the word because of its negative connotations would be against its intent. I would go on but i'd merely repeat everything you just said.
