I was told the "ultimate man movie" was supposed to be fight club. I guess I was told wrong. The only thing that could make it more appealing to the general male population are fast cars/spaceships and a stereotypical cryptic old wise man that gives easily quotable pearls of wisdom (we men love quotable quotes). I'm sure it would have a great many one liners (al la Bruce Campbell or something of the like).

Hey, Fight Club was a masterpiece. But it didn't have lesbian bikini cheerleaders and orbital attack-satellites armed with ridiculously powerful negative/positive ion-discharge cannons.
Oh, but we all love a good quote. Which is exactly why "Empire Strikes Back" is one of my favourite films. Anyone who says that it is the worst because it was "boring", I personally go out of my way to tell them what a fucking idiot they are.
