A collab between me and ~Alexhybrid ! I did lineart and shading, she did coloring and sketching! ~

How we came up with him was pretty interesting... Ruffles needed a GOOD reason to how it knew all the information that it did... And a couple of Neph's characters needed a common character of interest that was missing.

SO TOGETHER WE CAME TO THIS.

Here we have Reseph, who is the Overlord of the Underworld. He's a lightning-based magic user, as well as a hypnotist. Being not only the ruler of the Underworld, but a high-ranking demon wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Reseph's high status often made him quite the target for assassinations from opposing demons. Most attempts failed, as he easily fended off any opposition... However one attempt nearly succeeded.

Gravely wounded, Reseph sent subjects to look for the one person able to heal such a wound. (Usually for demons/angels, the fastest way to kill one is by disrupting the mana flow. AKA, striking the spine, which is also where such a massive manaduct lies. Its kind of like getting stabbed in the chest as an ordinary human. You'd die without help, and its not easily healed.) The only one able to preform such an advanced form of magic was Kryta, Alex's mother.

She was able to heal the Overlord within a few days, the demonic ruler claiming to grant one request for Kryta's efforts. Sadly, being less than true to his word, Reseph bends the woman to his will, and thus implied rape and other lovely things.

Over the next few months, after forming a contract, Reseph, drained from the action and in a weakened state, was bound to be attacked and killed by other demons. To prevent this, he forced Kryta to seal him into the body of a smaller, unsuspecting demon, the demon child being Ruffles.

He has since been in hiding, not one being knowing where he vanished to, not even his host.

Until recently, as Ruffles, the now self-proclaimed info hound, was approached for the whereabouts of Alex's father. This made it curious, and it began to look for the answer, as this was information even Ruffles didn't know. One of the earliest faces it recalled was Kryta's... And thus proceeded to hunt her down and interrogate her.
