Description
This is the front yard of a house I passed by in Nikko, Japan. Nikko is further up north than Tokyo, and it was snowing there, as you can see. My dad and I went there to see a shrine and the tomb of the first shogun of Japan.The thing I like about this is that the appreciation of natural beauty native to Japan permeates even the smallest areas. There are potted plants in subway stations, small gardens squeezed in front of large business buildings, and stuff akin to that everywhere. When you think about how expensive the land here is, and how they still find the space to add plants and trees everywhere, it just shows one of the many differences between our cultures.

i always wanted to visit japan ^ ^ i will go to europe over summer, tho and that's exciting! it's just not as much of a culture shock as east asia

but next summer, i want to go on another trip to germany, italy, and switzerland, and maybe france

yea i love it here the scenery and my house and stuff but i love it there just cuz my friends and cuz i lived there so long and SNOW!!! i watching juno some we ago and when i saw snow i was like awwwwwwwwwwwww...

This is a very beautiful picture, and I love the architecture of the house. Also, the plants and trees are so awesome compared to the boring ol' ones we have here in America.
