Backstory
As a young filly, ShockStorm was brought up by her mother, father and little brother in Manehatten. Her mother (nameless) worked in a flower store on the street corner, it was only a part-time job as she would have to travel home to look after ShockStorm and her brother. Her father (nameless) worked within the mafia, although he wouldn't talk to his family about what he actually did, he just claimed to work in the "industry". One day, her father came home from work all flustered, He quickly demanded the family to gather their things and leave. Her mother refused as he wouldn't tell them why.
The day went on fine, until nightfall. Just past midnight, their house was alight. The fire ripped through the house, tearing down beams and destroying all of their possessions. ShockStorms family got out with barely any harm, ShockStorm unfortunately was caught under a beam. Her two front legs became trapped and the fire tore the house to the ground. The fire caused unbearable amounts of damage to her face and legs.
After the blaze was put out, ShockStorm was pulled out and taken to the hospital where she rested for a good few months. Her mother and father sat day and night by her side, taking shifts on who looked after her brother. She had to have the lower parts of her front legs taken off, she often gave up with life and lay there . One morning, a new doctor came in her room. He was handsome, she decided she would give him a chance. A few hours past of him, doing the regular checks- he left the room and came back in with a bag. From the bag he removed metal joints and hooves. He fitted the joints to ShockStorms front legs, and taught her a spell to keep the hooves attached to the metal joints. Months passed and she could finally walk with the metal replacements. Once ShockStorm was well enough to leave the hospital, she decided to not stay with her family. She became incredibly paranoid that they would try and harm them all again and couldn't bare being near. A month after being begged to stay, she left and headed to Vanhoover where she began a new sheltered life.
