Description
So a tradition that my family always does around Chinese New Year is that I get requested to draw something Chinese New Year-y. :'D And since its the year of the monkey, I though drawing Sun Wukong a.k.a. the Monkey King seemed fitting :'D This is my interpretation on him haha.Kinda rushed it to get this done in time (i meant to work on it more during my stream yesterday but i was screwing around xD) But eh I guess its alright lol

I went to a chinese school when i was still in grade school but i quit (since i was the only half white/chinese kid i didnt really fit in with the crowd haha) so now i cant remember most of my chinese anymore |D (same thing happened with Spanish)
Im trying to relearn, but for now i just rely on google translate or my mom's advice pfhaha xD

So did I. I can't learn any other language besides growing up with English and I was unable to learn two languages at a young age, due to being born with a learning disability. I failed Spanish classes myself too lol. Interesting that you bought up your mother and you're half-Chinese?! And since it is Chinese New Year, do you also get a traditional red envelope from you parents and/or relatives too?
I know bits and pieces of Japanese, due to being an otaku. I know some dialect with Cantonese, but I can't write the language and I don't even remember how to spell my Chinese name anymore.
If you didn't know up to this point, I'm a full blooded Chinese-American, but I can't spell, write or use any Chinese language in real life or with my family and relatives. I rarely speak any Cantanose, which is an uncommon language than Mardarin, in these days anymore. xD

Yeah problem is that I got most of my Dad's genes so most people assume im full white (doesnt help that my last name is english too xD). Yep! I get them from my mom and relatives sometimes (though they send it by mail since they live in Malaysia)
Oh yeah i took a Japanese class in college for a semester xD so i can read some hirigana and katakana, but i only know a few phrases haha |D
