AKA "Vlad's Worst Nightmare"I'm afraid that Vlad has finally pushed Maddie too far...
Maddie's outfit was based on the "Witchblade" anime which some of you have already guessed, normally, she's portrayed as being sweet but in charge / no nonsense so now that she bears the Witchblade, old Jack better look out as he's in for a hell of a ride when she gets home...
And yes, this is probably the most revealing thing I've posted but who am I to argue with the guys back at Gonzo?
From a technical standpoint, this pic allowed me to try out the colour dodge and burn tool which I highly recommend for rendering shadowing, for example. Definitely will be using this for all future works.

Clever and funny! Being that the show (Danny Phantom) is about the supernatural, the Witchblade would fit perfectly into the story. Aside from the fact that its a Nick show and would probably upset a few family/relegious groups, hehe.

Having just watched the 5th DVD of Witchblade, I could well imagine the response, never mind that it's based on an American-originated comic book property translated into Japanese anime
The series, though, is surprisingly sensitive about family issues between a mother and child, for example...

Yes, I agree. The first episode I saw was #3. The first five minutes is, as the guys on MST3K would put it, Super violent animated porn. Even I was like, "woah, lady calm down!" after hearing her responses during the opening fight. But after getting a glimpse of the story and her relationship with her daughter, I really began to like the series. I love the little credit sequence at the end with the two of them, sweet and sad at the sametime. Perhaps foreshadowing something. Maybe thats just me, after all, I've only seen a couple of the shows.
But yeah, 90% of people out there won't look past the near naked-ness and sexual inuendo of the series and look at its core, a great story with strong emosions.
