So, those of you who've been following the Mighty No. 9 campaign (which raised over $4 million! Whoo go us!) would know by now that the Call designs F, E, and H are moving on to the next round, where they will be refined and colored for final voting. With regards to design F, many people, including myself, had voiced our concerns that maybe the design looks a bit too much like a certain heroine from another game series Mr. Inafune had made in the past. Then, after thinking about it for a bit longer, I came to wonder just how close is this design, if we don't go for the blonde hair + red dress look?

So the above came to be. I fiddled around with coloring schemes a bit on an image software to come up with 14 different colour schemes to compare with the "default" one (do the colors on the top row look familiar to anyone? ). They were made very fast, so some of them may look weird and I'm sure there are lots of good ones that people can think of. The point is, at least to me, none of the ones other than the original look nearly close to that "other heroine"! So yeah, if you are worried about this design being to close to "certain someone", lets hope that Comcept comes up with some innovative colour schemes for the second round!
