are those all screen print? how exactly do you get all of the background colors? the registration is so spot on...fascinating....... it seems like a very complex piece,

All of my pieces have some sort of screen printing in them. My newer ones are what I call Mixed Media with Screen Printing.
As for ΓgΓ¦tis byrjun the colors were built with a nice amount of trapping so the registration is decent. I'm not so lucky all the time...

alright I have another 2 questions for you. I just got into screen printing a couple of days ago, and have already successfully made a few prints with the paper stencil method. What method do you use- let's say for your figures? I heard you can use technical screen printing pens, do those have the blue drawing fluid in them so you can just simply draw directly onto your screen. Have you heard of this?

I haven't heard of that process of using pens... browse the fourms at gigposters.com there is lots of good info on there.
I create all my art (most of it) in photoshop.... so after I feel I have something to work with I print my stuff out onto transparencies. It seems that I can get the best detail for my figures by using transparencies.

Very nice. Did you draw these images, or are the manipulations from somewhere?
