I saw the pair of these on a public computer yesterday (my internet died Sunday afternoon and I just got it back this morning) and my first thought was "FanFiction time." So, guess what?
I've got one started, but it fits neither the holiday in question nor the general feeling of the set. It's more sad/sappy than anything else and I'm still deciding if I want the happy ending or the bittersweet ending. Have you any thoughts on the matter?

I actually had a bit of a backstory to this scene too... nothing concrete, but definitely fits into the sad/happy genres. Something with Bakura coming back from the Memory World, or with him just about to leave? Marik's clothes imply that it's after the end of the series, so it might have to be that Bakura magically comes back. If you want it to be bittersweet, maybe it's something like his people granted him some time after he went into Memory World, but failed to destroy the Pharaoh, and that maybe he has a few short hours to stay on earth before he leaves for the afterlife, and he spends them with Marik? I think that could definitely have a happy undertone followed by the fact that Marik can only have him back for a short time, and never see him again.
Hmm... something to think about. Definitely link me if you type something and post it up!
