Core Theme: Revolutionary Leaders clad in purple who desired to crush and destroy the unfair system they were spawned in. Now, thanks to their actions (Megatron doing so many horrible thing like poisoning Cybertron and Lelouch's actions as the new Emperor) they’re now seen by history as their world’s most evil villains.

Have similar weapons permanently mounted to their hand (The Fusion Cannon and the Shinkiro’s Hadron Blasters)
They were killed by a sword stab through the chest
A funny thing to note is that Aligned Megatron was killed by Bumblebee, who is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch (The english voice actor for Lelouch)

Contrasts:
Megatron was low-class gladiator of Cybertron while Lelouch was born as a Prince of the Empire he swore to destroy
Megatron didn’t care for anyone but his own ambitions and didn’t feel any remorse until the very end of the series while Leleouch genuinely cared for others and often felt remorseful for many of his actions the entire time.
Animation Potential:
Mech vs Giant Robot is always cool
It should be an army battle between the Black Knights and the Decepticons
Thanks to that it can have cool moment with individual characters (Kallen, Rolo, Tohdoh, Xingke, Jeremiah, Benio, Tamaki, Starscream, Soundwave, Dreadwing, Knockout, Breakdown, and Airachnid, etc.) for example:
Lelouch using the Shinkiro’s chest cannon to destroy armies of flying VehiconTohdoh and the Four Holy Swords battling against Starscream and his Seekers (Let’s just imaging Thundercracker and Skywarp are still alive)
Jeremiah Gottwald’s Sutherland Sieg ramming at Soundwave and Laserbeak in the skies
Kallen using her Radiant Wave Surger to turn armies of Vehicon to a crisp
Airachnid tearing out the cockpit of a knightmares before brutally butchering it’s pilots with her spider limbs
Megatron using dark energon to revive the fallen vehicons and animate destroyed knightmares (Like how he did it in Code Prime)
That’s just the tip of the iceberg there are much more that could happen in the animation
It can feature the other Black Knight vs Decepticon mus I thought of like Tohdoh vs Starscream and Jeremiah vs Soundwave
Also Army Battles always utilises Lelouch’s best skills as a strategist to the fullest
This is much better than Megatron vs Dio and Lelouch vs Itachi (Seriously those matchups fucking suck ass)
