Description

The Bazikstan-Drman war was an armed conflict between Bazikstan against Degoland and their allies of the JPM.

After the fall of the Tork Empire of Cretor, after the anglasecuarnian wars (first world war of Aiers, 3139-3155), the territories of the former empire where divided in several protectorades and independent nations under the area of influence of other nations.

Among them was Bazikstan: the land of the Baziks, originally a poor mountain and desert land, inhabited by the fierce bazik tribes of the Montaiqas, there the hostile tribes and poor nation made the Gastronomical Empire -who had Bazikstan under they area of influence- neglect it: and this was used by many former cretorian empire army officers of bazik ethnicity, who planned to rebuild the old empire, but as a Bazik nation: for this, they had to unify the tribes, modernize the armed forces... and to expulse of Bazikstan the foreign powers.

Between the 3157-3178, the baziks will fight a serie of wars against many enemies, with mostly adverse luck: the disorganized armies of Bazikstan, poorly equiped, poorly trained, with corrupt officers and low moral, where defeated one after other time. As well, they couldn't break the tribal organization of warriors, identified to their clans and families rather than bazikstan, and each general of Bazikstan, rather than member of the armed forces, was an independent warlord, who acted as a prince and used their soldiers as personal armies, often clashing between them in skirmishes, doing coup d'etat against the weak central government, or even making diplomacy on their own, doing alliances and wars without authorization of an inexistent central authority.

But in the later decade of the 70's, began a process of centralization of Bazikstan, with a reorganization of the bureaucracy and government, that will have consecuences in the economy of Bazikstan. As well, with the expansion of the education system, the concept of a nation of the baziks, Bazikstan, was spreading: and while most of the baziks will still consider themselves for long first as part of a clan or tribe, they began to think to themselves as well, as inhabitants of Bazikstan.

With this period of consolidation, in the 80's the Bazik government thought will be needed for further development of Bazikstan, a process of industrialization: And in the Degolandic protectorade of Shynnia, the degolandians had builded one of the largest industrial complex of Zarhuy in that time: the RDUC.

As a former territory of Cretor, Bazikstan had a claim over this province for long, but previously they had suffered military defeats against the degolendos.

However, due the recent Ignacian-Degolendian war, the Baziks used the conjucture to sign a new treaty with Degoland: Shynnia will become instead a protectorade of Bazikstan -rather than of Degoland-, as long the Baziks comprommised themselves to respect the economical interests of Degoland in Shynnia, the private property of degolendos citizen and the state of Degoland, and the monopoly of the RDUC.

The transfer of power was done in the 3281, but soon problems arised: As originally intented, soon the Baziks proclaimed the annexion of the Protectorade of Shynnia into Bazikstan. And only two months later, despise the protests of Degoland, the industries with foreign capitols in former Shynnia where nationalized -A legislation done with the RDUC heavy industries on sight-.

Still fighting the war against the Gastronomical Empire, Degoland only issued diplomatic notes and complains to Bazikstan. But they will not forget.

And soon after peace was signed with the Gastronomical Empire (IG), Degoland (DR) and their allies of Juanpableiro (JPM) will land their armed forces in former Shynnia, without a declaration of war: Instead, a ultimatum was send to the Bazik government: to abandone Shynnia in 48 hours, as the actions of Bazikstan (annexion of Shynnia and nationalization of the RDUC) had rendered the former treaties void.

The Baziks, rather than to accept the ultimatum, sended reinforces to their forces in former-Shynnia.

And so, will begin the Bazikstan-Drman war, that will last from 3182 to the 3187 a.a.H: five years of fierce war, which will end in the defeat of Degoland. Because of their defeat, Degoland will have to renounce not only to Shynnia, but as well other provinces they had in the former empire of Cretor.

For Bazikstan, winning this war will mean the incorporation of extense territories, and specially, to add the industrial might of the RDUC to their cause: And this industrial complex will be key to the military might and expansion of bazikstan in the decade of the 90's of the XXXII century.
