Description
Forces of the early Dark legion, gathering for their wars against Dumia, in the Demon-Dumian Wars.
This drawing originated in a comment on Twitter, on a drawing of the Cynocephaly or dog-headed men, from medieval stories, and somebody said they would be interested in seeing my take on the Blemmyes or Headless Men, other of the monstrosities of the medieval bestiaries.
As I was sketching the first Blemmy (more as a joke than anything), I thought he was too lonely, and wanted to give him a warband with other blemmyes. My brother, who was watching me draw it, suggested me to give him a meme-ish expression. And then we were discussing about medieval monsters and creatures, and this drawing turned into a medieval bestiary, including creatures as the Pard (who mated with lions and gave birth to Leopards!), the Bonnacon (a sort of bull that could expel large amounts of caustic feces from its anus... a sort of... flamethrower, if you want. But way more disgusting!) and many more.
As I was doing it, seeing some of the more anthrophomorphical monsters, included a sort of elephant-headed character as well from medieval stories, as a nod to the challenge of Arnilo Animal Anthro August. It's on the back! I'm sure it still counts thought!
(In my fantasy setting, the World of Aiers, all the un-natural creatures I discard easily as demons, or created by demons! And demons can come in all sort of forms and shapes, not just horned and red!)
