Description

The High elf reclinated in his chair, in that miserable tabern, in a miserable trading post, lost in the plains of Antor.

He began speaking then:

"My name is Eruantien Manwë: I'm a High elf from the south, from a Kingdom called Vanilion, and I'm from a very privilegiated economical possition down there..."

________________________________________
As he speaked, he reminded the green lands and forests of the south, in comparison to the misrebale and poor steppes of Antor... and also, remembered his home, and his childhood... and most of what he remembered, didn't became words, or part of the story he was telling:

Eruantien Manwë, name that meaned "Pure Gift of God" was given by her grandmother... with a marked irony:

His family was, indeed, from very wealthy traders, who take the oportunity of trading manufacturated elfic goods from Vanilion, to the neighboaring barbarian -that mean, non-high elf- nations, in exchange of gold, ivory, emeralds, and other goods, that where later shipped to other High Elf kingdoms in Ushaenor, and due of that, they where able to reach part of the Plutocracy who governated the destiny of the Nation:

Then, suddendly, the only daughter of the family, still a teen for elf standards, became pregnant...

Outside of any kind of marital union, and worse, of any know dad:

The elfs aren't know for their fertility, so it was very special... and shoking: normally, two elfs will take years to have a single child...

So it was a total scandalous: not only that, but in the aristocracy of Vanilion, -and most of High elfs- the ancestors where crucial to determinate the status of somebody, their place in society, and possition as heir...

And so, when he was born, the "Pure gift of god", due the possition of his family in society, precious age of her mother, unknow father, was the more tasty rumour that was among every house: and more for his aparence -short ears, whide nose, little fangs, sick greenish skin tone-.

He was an outcast: somebody without ancestors.
But, as her family had money -the same thing that make his position worse- make easier his life...

But the child, raised within an over-protective mother -who never say to anybody who was the dad, beginning some wild especulations-, a distant family, and rumors off all kind, make that his already bad temper become worse:

And being the bigger, stronger kid, he quickly expressated his frustration throught violence, toward other kids, slaves and animals...

Wich make even more condenable him, and his mother...

Well, they where laughing and bullying him, saying her mother laid with a pig or something. Doing that to a short-tempered, stronger boy isn't very wise for the elven kids!

P.S. Interesting Roman style dress that Eruanien's mother has! Do the crying children have on basically the poor clothes of Roman era and culture children?

I had wondered if that was Luthien in the picture? The family maid trying to comfort the children to make up for the young master's anger management problems? But she is actually the children's mother? Eruantien was physical with the maid and her children?!

"they where able to reach part of the Plutocracy" does this mean that the family became part of the ruling elite, or merely had influence over the decisions of the ruling hierarchy?

No, is not Luthien, but a wild elf as well. the girls where calling him pig-son, he hit them, and then the mother of the children came to try to take them appart, and she become "collateral damage" in the brawl. XO

But yeah, he have anger management problems.

Vanilion is a plutocracy: If you are rich, you are part of th hierarchy! X3

I suppose that one should consider that these are big insults, and that he is chronologically no older, or maybe even younger, than the children he struck! While on the other hand, he was probably treated like a child for far longer than he should have been!

Yep!

Lamentablemente, su madre sobreprotectora no lo hará. una figura paterna inexistente no ayuda, y, tanto los altos elfos son unos superficiales que se basan en la apariencia para juzgar, como que el prefiere pegar primero y pensar después
