Bog--just full of optimism! Far, far more kind hearted than he might seem! Not the smartest guy around though, having a little girl tagging along with him all this time.
Pumori's father will likely rip him apart! "It's OK! The girl has become the understudy of the Legendary Bog the Barbarian!" he might say. Yes. as I imagined, the girl's werewolf father will likely tear him apart!

Oh, Bog's got nothing to worry about from Pumori's father - he's much too busy caring for his mate, she's just given birth to their third child.
He might want to worry a bit about Freya, Pumori's aunt, though - she's on Pumori's (and Bog's) trail instead her brother. In fact, he might even wish it was just Pumori's father that was on his trail instead, Freya's nickname isn't Bonebreaker for no reason - [link]

kanyiko In reply to larqven [2012-06-15 20:55:44 +0000 UTC]
Dunno how 'lucky' he would be - Freya left her youngest litter - just a couple of weeks old - with Lindsey when she left on the hunt for Pumori (imagine the scene - Lindsey (human) getting three cubs (Wolf-hybrid) pushed in her hands, with the instructions "just suckle them when they're hungry"). She'd most likely scoff at his attempted approach, before punching his lights out
Mind you, Bog's track record has gotten rather patchy ever since Pumori appeared - [link] & [link]
On the other hand, maybe it would be even worse for him if he did succeed in persuading him. Freya's very much a dominant Alpha-bitch, and it might come as a real shock to Bog if she did get it in her mind to get a litter off him. Once she has her mind onto something, she won't quit until she gets it. He might be left running for dear life, for the rest of his life...

Well, he's good at bedding women, and getting them with child in the bargain! Adaptability clearly is one of his strengths!
It speaks volumes that he leaves behind all these illegitimate children, and these mothers don't hate him! helping produce some half lycanthrope Bog-spawn is something that Bog could do!

Bog might have some other things going against him, though. He isn't to know, but Freya has some... personal history, some unpleasant things that happened to her (which could only happen to a female - that's all I'm going to say about that). It does explain some of her agressive behaviour, though, she doesn't want what happened to her, happen to her niece - or any female for that part. And for the same reason, she only sees the worst in someone like Bog...

Uh? XO!
Unintented!! Unintented!! [link]
Pumori lives somewhere in the regions to the west of Mondwargh, in Polforia. Then, following Bog, they crossed Mondwargh, Polforia to Dbejor, then Kanovait and StapΓ€ria. There was the city where Oyvald live. Odgark is still a rather young boy, only some five years old or so.
Bogilla meanwhile lives in Fornhost! XD
I should make the journies of my characters clearer, I guess
No, no, don't get confused there! This is outher town! Bogilla lives in Fronhost... Meanwhile this town is to the southeast!
Not close, so is other blacksmith son!
As fact, Odgark is rather young. The city where Oyvald

kanyiko In reply to Shabazik [2012-06-15 14:52:25 +0000 UTC]
Oh my, that makes it a whole lot clearer!! For a moment I thought... But of course every town has its blacksmith, and every blacksmith family must have a blacksmith son...
It does mean that Bog decided to take the long road, though - didn't he want to go to BrΓ»m when he met Mina? Instead, he's travelled all the way in the other direction - away from BrΓ»m!
It looks as though Pumori's become well travelled, though - she'd never been more than a day's travel from her home before meeting Bog, and she's certainly never seen other towns - any towns before in her life. Nor had she seen any other persons before, other than her mother and her aunt Freya in her person form (she's never seen her father in any other form than his Werewolf one).
And so now they've started to loop back from StapΓ€ria towards... Polforia? Or is Bog headed somewhere else instead? Anyway, they must now either be in Fornhost, since that is where the two werewolf girls were last time we met them. Or have they already travelled through towards their native territory of Wildnacht?
Either way, Freya's already made it towards Fornhost, where she's made herself an enemy in Ugrunt. Yet another one. Freya doesn't really seem to believe much in making friends, she only appears to have relatives, live enemies and dead enemies. But then again, the Clan of the White Fang is known for its agressive behaviour, especially "Bonebreaker" Freya and her sons..

Shabazik In reply to kanyiko [2012-06-15 17:14:02 +0000 UTC]
Well, for the BrΓ»m business, he travelled a bit with them, going back, basically. As said in other occasion, Bog doesn't travel in a defined way. He do circles, so going back to BrΓ»m didn't affected his lack of plans! XD
He traves instead of I in S. Or even in U or O XD
For Bog and Pumori, they already crossed Fornhost, but he didn't stopped there, being in Wildnacht. From there, he plan to cross the mountains to go to Polforia, and more specific, where Pumori found him!. :3

Knowing Bog, then, he might not necessarily take the shortest route - especially with those mountains in his way. Heh, I wouldn't even be half surprised if his idea of a 'shortest route' over the mountains would involve a detour all the way to NegΓ©e and back... XD

Oh! I just noticed - shouldn't Bog still have a black eye? I guess this happens the same day (or the next one) after the "word" incident with Pumori, which left Bog flying - [link]
Or does he heal quickly? I guess he must be used to black eyes, I gather it's not the first time something similar happened to him (his fellow adventurers had to pick him up from the floor after another epic encounter with a Werewolf - [link]
Werewolves certainly don't seem to bring Bog much luck, I gather there isn't a half-Werewolf cub running around with ruffled black hair somewhere...?

Oh, he have found werewolves before. But in battlefield as an adventurer, and that isn't the best ocasion to make some "friends" XO! -these where werewolves of some of the clans of the dark legion of demons, warriors, and bandits-

kanyiko In reply to Shabazik [2012-06-18 16:38:03 +0000 UTC]
As an ex-soldier of the dark legion, wouldn't he have fought alongside Werewolves as well...?
π: 0 β©: 1
Shabazik In reply to kanyiko [2012-06-18 17:59:27 +0000 UTC]
Theorically, yes.
In a practical way, no:
After the Great war of the Power (and the first one of what will be 3 bloody wars), which happened about 200 years ago -the world where my characters lives is coming closer and closer to the second Great War of the Power- the great demon lords of the Dark Legion where banished... and what really remains are scattered remanents of the Dark Legion:
the minor demons who in the moment weren't considered dangerous enough to be exiled back to the Mount Demonach by the triumphant Whide Axis Empire and the human kingdoms:
So for about 200 years, these minor demon kingdoms where remanents of the Dark Legion, but while they claimed to be the rightful sucessors of it, they really lacked coherence, and often fighted more each other, rather than other enemies.
The Nigromancer of Tok-Thoria, the witch king of Dolnur and many others where before minor demons... but during this time, they builded their own powers, and claims as sucessors of the Dark Legion.
So, while he was a Half-orc soldier of the Dark Legion, he was first a soldier of the Nigromante of Tok-Thoria... meanwhile, the other remanents of the Dark Legion had their own interests (for example, the werewolves of Mondwargh by then where basically independent, but claimed to be the dark legion. As the demon lord of entartea, and others!)
So no, he didn't fought alongside werewolves back then. The army of the Nigromante lacked units of werewolves, being the backbone first Kanov mercenaries and pirates, and slowly, he breeded his Koktos, the black orcs of Tok-Thoria, who where supported by ogres, while demons where rather short in his personel. :3

Actually, I just realised - it won't make much difference to Lindsey and Fergal, their main concerns have always been 1) having enough food to make sure the family's able to survive; 2) bringing up the kids; and 3) not getting killed by any rogues or bandits or so. Exactly the same priorities as when there would be a war on, so the war itself wouldn't bring that much of a change.
I'm wondering, though: how old do their species become, though? I just realised: Lindsey's a quarterblood or so Elf (three quarters human), so maybe (if she doesn't get herself killed) she can get a good old age. And I don't know how old Werewolves can be...
That said... *sigh* Pumori's just one face among the masses, so it's unlikely she's destined to anything great, especially with her 'heritage'...

Shabazik In reply to kanyiko [2012-06-19 17:02:25 +0000 UTC]
There is a difference: during war times, with armies marching, there are less food, as the forraging parties look for food -or raid local farms-, and many times deserters will go to ticker the lines of bandits and rogues! D:!

kanyiko In reply to Shabazik [2012-06-19 18:52:28 +0000 UTC]
Very true, unfortunately - Lindsey better keep exercising her archery! It's also an added problem for Pumori - by then, she'll have had her first litter herself, so she'll not only have to fend for herself, but for her cubs too!
