Rainwing

The smallest of the pyrrihan tribes, their design is inspired by tropical lizards, birds of paradise and snakes.

- they have short, elliptical wings.
- their agility is exceptional.
- though they can’t really soar, they often glide the short distances between trees.
- their flight pattern is similar to that of small birds, flapping rapidly, closing their wings and shooting through the air, before catching their fall and repeating the process.

Rainwings have a very snake like body, a prehensile tail and quite long fingers.
They are technically taller than Seawings, but most Rainwings keep their legs slightly bend, as it is more comfortable for them.
They often coil their neck, displaying their throat fin/sail.

The sails on their neck and face can be manipulated, giving them a more spikey look, similar to an Icewing, or making the gaps in the fins smaller, giving an appearance similar to a Seawing.
They can not, however, perfectly imitate another tribe, as their wing and body shape tend to give them away, not mentioning their small size.

Like pythons, they have multiple rows of teeth, and can split/unhinge their jaws.

They mostly use flowers and other plants as jewellery, but sometimes also use stones, pelts, tusks or claws and teeth.

They can of course have pretty much any color, but their ability to control the colors change with age, young Rainwings tend to have duller colors, often browns and greens, with accents showing their emotions, while old dragons often have lighter colors that look a bit washed out, but have a slight glitter to them.
