...The sun shone down on the green lands, warming his black feathered wings as he stood at ease on the edge. A playful breeze tore at the sparse clouds above and his ebony mane, flicking it around his gently smiling face with its bright blue eyes that were almost silver. The thick mountain grass at his heels rustled softly, and the wide blue skies extended as far as could be seen, a tempting blue pool he was itching to dive into...

Finally, my request for that was originally an owl-patterned pegasus, but due to my lack of pattern adapting skills we agreed to make it based of a Jackdaw instead.

Looking at the bird, I thought it would look somewhat like a roan on an equine, so I adapted it His face marking is a bit hard to see with the shading (which gave me arguments round the rump >< ) but its the same colour as the dorsal side of his wings which are a solid dark grey.

Hope you like him, Zeunicorn1o! He and the background where lots of fun.

The pose was referenced loosely off Lindy 16 ([link] ) by ~Caserta-Stock Oh, and the little watermark down in the bottom is replacing my old one. A simpler design.
