I think what really impresses me here is the bird. Your horse anatomy is as good as always, but it's great to see your skill in other areas...and that crow looks fantastic. Now, if you want to get technical, he seems almost raven-sized for a crow, but that's splitting hairs...I'm just a nerd for the corvid family as a whole. XD
The transition between the green foreground grass and the gold/tan background grass also seems a little sharp...I think it might be the fact that I can see the base color through the individual leaves of grass, and that flat horizontal peeking through kind of jars. But on the other hand, the texture's fantastic. :3
