Asleep. Sucking it's "thumb."Mother: Yellow Fox
Father: Nutmeg
If I'm correct, it's a little Nutmeg.
The runt died at fuzzy stage. The male DEH got a respiratory infection as a young adult and despite treatment, died. Everyone else found a new home.

That picture's only a year old and that particular gerbil only lived 2 days after the picture was taken.

Yeah, I just lost a couple that were a little over 3 years. Two b&w girls - sucks - I think it was the stress of the move or they would have lasted longer.

Thanks. I know! I've never seen a gerbil suck it's thumb before, but it ran it's little paws over it's face (almost like they do when they clean) and then stuck it's thumb in it's mouth and started sucking.
