Description He used to be this little and this color: [link]
He spouted up quite nicely, I think and he eats like a horse.

His color is something a little different than anything I've seen. His saddles got lighter and his background color darker so if he continues to change in the current manner, he'll have a solid pumpkin orange back - this is what makes me think he might be het for blood red. The really odd thing about his color though, is that his belly got darker and darker- more and more black seemed to leave his back and end up underneath. I hope I can reproduce it - I have big breeding plans for this guy. Can you believe he was technically a freebie because I bought a bunch of other snakes?

RIP August 1, 2008.

Gorgeous boy! How long did it take him to grow that large? My little albino's about a year old and still very tiny.

Take a look at him: [link]
I got him around 2 years old and he's grown probably 6" in length, but really bulked up at around 5 years.

Thank you. He took a long, long time to grow. In fact, I was beginning to think I had the world's first dwarf corn snake. He ate and ate, but had seemed to completely stop growing at a year old. It took him between 2 1/2 and 3 years to get that size.

Hm well, I appreciate the information and it's funny; I was lamenting the small size of my snake to a friend and she mentioned that perhaps he had a rare dwarf gene, haha.

Thanks again!

Like I said, keep him at 80°F and feed him twice a week. He'll grow.

Thank you. Nice that it was good enough to make you face your fear and even compliment it.
Why are you afraid?
