Although I like Knuxouge in the aspect of the rivalry between the two, Feel although Shadouge has more of an actual relationΒ
Knuxouge consists mainlyΒ of Rouge teasing Knuckles, but with Shadouge it's more 'mutual' I guess? Both contributing to the ship for lack of better wordingΒ
Rouge someone whose depicted as self-serving and greedy, showing out-of-character compassion and loyalty (such as in Sonic 06, sonic heroes and some moments in the comics)
Meanwhile Shadow just hanging around rouge is surprising. Being the typical 'lone-wolf' character, actually agreeing to Rouge teaming up with them in SA2 was enough to have me liking the ship Β (It was Shadow who agreed to Rouge becoming apart of Team Dark, because in the cut scene Eggman only agrees to the proposal of teaming up after looking at Shadow who nodded in response)
And in Free Riders the two enter the competition alone, and their motive was money? Β Rouge I understand, but Shadow? Β Β Β
In my opinion, I believe that Shadow was content with helping Rouge and that's it, showing how strong their bond is. Because Shadow just didn't care about the whole ordeal, he didn't even care about the cash price, only finding it inconvenient when the cash money they stole was fakeΒ
