My entry to *The-Starhorse 's toy photo comic contest
I love reading her transformers comics, I don't have many transformers but I have alot of random toys from different movies and games 
was tons of fun to make... McClane (my new fish) was very co-operative! Had so many ace shots of him and Queenie but had to choose just one which was tough. He loves checking out toys I put by his tank... but they can't stay there otherwise he won't get to sleep!

^_^ Why resist? I have 10 of the little darlings because I can't resist (have to get a picture of the smallest female, Dancer, up).
^_^ Bettas are gorgeous, intelligent, and very personable. They're smarter than people give them credit for... They can learn tricks, they can recognize people (Shimmer once threw a total fin fit b/c my mom was using my computer, and he didn't know her LOL), and I swear they can tell time (mine let me know if I miss feeding time). The females can even be kept in one tank together.
I'm a total betta addict (like that wasn't already obvious XD;; ). I've crossed that fine line between "hobby" and "obsession", and I have absolutely no regrets about it ^_^

hehe they are so smart... I love interacting with McClane.
I'd love to have more, but I get sent away on fieldwork a lot at short notice so I can only really have one, as I have to rely on friends to feed him
I'd love to have three though... McClane, a solid red and a blue of some kind, not to mention to try to breed them

Breeding bettas is hit-or-miss, just to warn you... I don't breed mine, but I know people who've tried. If the female is not ready to breed, the male might kill her, or she might even kill him. Then the fry have to be separated by size when they're big enough, or the larger will eat the smaller... And then separated by sex (the females have a white spot just behind the ventral fins). Easy it most certainly isn't

Yeah, betta breeding is really hit-or-miss. If I had a female halfmoon, I MIGHT attempt it (crossing a halfmoon and a crowntail produces a half sun - the combtail halfmoon). But I don't, so I won't

thanks, I love aliens so when I randomly saw Queenie in a shop I had to get her! Figures of things like that are really tough to find in the uk
yeah McClane (the fish) is really curious about things around his tank, and loves checking them out and hanging around beside them, he doesn't ever 'flare' or act agressively towards toys.
