The detail work is really nice but you need to go much heavier on the darks. If you're not using really dark leads like 6 or 8B then using a pen and blending it over with graphite works well too. I also like using just pure pen and using an eraser to smear wet ink which gets very nice effects. Point is though that heavier shadows will make the picture more interesting to look at artistically.
I really love the teeth. They could use braces though

Yeah I've been trying to go a little darker, I can go fairly dark with the mechanical pencil I use for all my drawing. Just trying to get used to it

unfortunately the only way other then pen and digi is to go out and buy darker leads. 6B and 7B leads are very good multi-purpose pencils
