Hi Phineas...Whatcha doin'?------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is Isabella Garcia-Shapiro from Disney's Phineas and Ferb. I drew her in the classical Disney style. Little Isabella is quite a cutie, eh?
Normally, I am inspired to draw the characters form the Phineas and Ferb show after listening to its many catchy songs. But Isabella doesn't sing too many songs, where she is the main vocalist (S'Winter and Go Phineas are too brief to count). So here she is, just standing there and looking cute.
The Phineas and Ferb show and all characters within are creations of Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh and are all © Disney.

You've done a good job with the shading, it would be good to see some highlights in there too - it will make the shading seem more realistic and give more life and depth. Her body seems a little stiff but the form is correct.
I also think you should be a little (just a little!) more random with the folds in her clothes, particularly in her skirt to make it seem less 'e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Again adding highlights to the clothes will make a difference too.

It's hard to translate the Disney character design to something a bit more lifelike. That said, I think you did a fine job. You character appears to be the right age, and is proportionally correct. While the small nose may seem odd in a realistic drawing, it is correct to the character. I also appreciate that you preserved other noteworthy details such as her correct eye color and the center part of her hair. My only complaint is that her expression seems to uncertain, and not that wonderful smile that we all like to see.

I have to admit, this kind of hits that weird borderline that separates cute from scary. It's not quite scary enough to actually cross it, but I am seeing something very off about this. I think there's just something about the expression that's not sitting well with me.
I think the main thing that's giving it this effect is probably the small size of the nose in comparison to the large eyes. Large eyes work in a lot of styles (Though I've never been the biggest fan of them, personally.), but the only way it can really be pulled off right is with the right proportioning of everything else. If the nose was made just the slightest bit larger, it would probably fix the problem.
I don't mean that it's bad though. Everything outside of the face seems to be fairly well done, and you did a good job of drawing children's clothes. The hair is particularly well done.
I really think that this is nothing more than a case of one thing throwing the rest of the drawing off.
