Trash is an orphan, she has nowhere else to go but down. That is, until she meets a snarky demon named Shade. Shade strikes up a deal of power and riches for the cat, in exchange for her own soul when she dies.
Rising up to power alone was like trying to climb up a mountain on your knees, but with a practical army around you, things seem to get easier. You rule the city, you rule the world.
But not everyone agrees with this, not everyone will sit in silence and watch this happen. When you have a goal, you realize that everything around you doesn't matter anymore. When you have a goal, you have a voice. You use your voice to get a message across, but when all else fails, you result to violence. What happens when this doesn't work? You try again.
That's the situation The Rebels and The Outcasts are in.
Broken Remains must be stopped before everyone pays the price of Shade and Trash's violence.
