Give in to noise
Let it consume you
Until silence is all that remains
Drain all from the mind
Leave an empty black space
Let this blackness cover all
And now vision a red sphere
Among the dim backdrop
One may easily call this sphere an apple
With the red skin full of life
As you run your flesh over it
You remember the touch
Now the apple is in both hands
It's surface is warm to the touch
A pleasing gesture
You bring the apple closer to your face
For a breif moment your lips caress the skin
Before your teeth sink in
And the taste you cannot remember
Yet another bite is taken
Still no taste is found
Then all sight comes back
The real world welcomes you back
So falls a tear from your failure
But maybe next time
When one's heart races once more
Maybe next time you'll remember it all
