I love pastels, but I dunno how many guys would put a pastel narwhal on their manly keys. I just like things in sets though

Yea since I can't make these two sided because of the thickness of the eyes, I figure it would look cute. I was thinking of two pieces of a heart but that might've been a little too cheesy.

I'm glad you like the Riiko. I'm hoping to come up with a large variety of patterns for Otakon

thanks hun! I usually use corriedale wool for needle felting though the green I have is merino. The sweaters I made for two of my mohair dolls were Japanese merino. (And yes merino is the good stuff.)
This felt is so much softer than the stuff you would get in the crafts store (like at Michaels) I like the feel of it when I'm sewing too. Craft felt tends to scratch my skin

I don't usually get things from Michaels other than thread and little things. General craft stores don't tend to carry the higher quality stuff, but I feel that it's worth it to use better material. Mohair and other natural fibers tend to dye beautifully (depending on the dye you use. Sometimes dye will come apart over time)
I get my Japanese merino from PurlSoho. It's a store in NYC, but it's about 16-17 USD for 500g. I only go when I visit home. I would love to buy some alpaca yarn. The farm near where I went to school had black alpacas so I couldn't dye it, but the thing that I love about alpaca is it gets softer as you wash it. (I use a gentle detergent for natural fibers)

You can get really thin "spider web" yarn online for knitting miniature things.
