You nervously sat in the boat as you and Antonio rowed along a gorgeous lake in the late evening. Your best friend Bermuda set you up on a date with the Spaniard, seeing as how you were too shy to do it yourself.

You quietly sat there not knowing that Antonio was gazing at you intently. You turned and blushed as he caught your gaze

“Are you having fun?” he asked and smiled softly, making you nod in response.

~Antonio’s POV~

It’s possible she wants you, too
There is one way to ask her

(y/n) looked beautiful to me. She wore a (f/c) dress with a (s/f/c) colored shawl. Her (h/c) hair framed her face as she focused her attention to the water. Several white and pink lilies floated along the surface.

“Here” I gently grabbed a white lily and carefully dried it off. (y/n) watched as I brushed some hair behind her hair and tucked the flower in her silky locks.

I wanted to kiss her, and tell (y/n) how much she meant to me, but rejection scared me. She must’ve been thinking of something if she was this quiet. I wondered what was on her mind.

I leaned in to kiss her and she blushed at me. I quickly pulled away and blushed from embarrassment. (y/n) fidgeted with her fingers and looked up at me. I smiled and stared into her deep (e/c) eyes. They shimmered as the sun began to set. Fireflies emerged and began flying and floating in the air around us.

I knew tonight was going to be the night that I kissed her. I had to. If I didn’t, she may move on to some other guy. I couldn’t stand to see her with anyone else. I just had to gather my courage and do it. I can fight bulls and wars, but when it came to being brave enough to kiss the girl of my dreams, my legs turned to jello and my heart bashed against my ribs a mile a minute.

The atmosphere was sultry and soothing as the boat floated on the water as we stayed in the middle of a small lagoon. Fireflies danced merrily as (y/n) smiled and looked around.

“I’m really glad you decided to join me” I murmured as she turned and smiled at me. (y/n) was cute when she smiled.

I gently took (y/n)’s hands in mine and gently rubbed her knuckles. She blushed and nervously shivered. She was just as nervous and shy as I was feeling.

“You look really beautiful tonight (y/n)” I muttered as she blushed darker

“Thank you” she replied and tilted her head to the side slightly.

I slowly leaned in and I could see her head move towards me.

I smiled as my lips softly met hers. I gently cupped her cheek and deepened the kiss. I could feel (y/n)’s hands as they played with my hair and I continued to kiss her. I wrapped an arm around her waist and I pulled her closer to me. (y/n) broke the kiss and stared into my eyes with hers.

“Te amo (y/n)….” I mumbled as she kissed me again

“I love you too Toni” she giggled as I recaptured her mouth with mine. Her lips were soft and sweet against mine. I never wanted the moment to end. I finally got my chance to kiss the girl.
