In my opinion, it borrowed too much from A and not enough from X. There was pretty much only the buster identifying that Model X was in there. Yes, it was from a fanfiction, but I'm talking as a piece of art all on its own. It looks good though, I would've just preferred if it looked more like X. Maybe change around the helmet, mess around with the body colors? Idk.

*shrug* idk. I pulled it out of how I interpreted it from the description, sans the hair. Which was left out as to what was done with it so I threw it in there because I love long hair. It's also several years old now so, whatever. Though, to date I still rather like it. Especially that background. If I ever find myself in the mood though I probably could go back and better draw it according to the story's description and better anatomy. lol

Area N...?

ShadowFox777 In reply to MtH897Ultra [2015-09-29 03:43:15 +0000 UTC]
It's a hidden area in the first ZX game, where you can go and fight model O. It doesn't serve Much for the games story line, but it's got all sorts of hidden bosses. (if you have Zero 3 in the slot for the GBA and you need an older DS model to do this you can also fight like, 8 extra bosses but prepare for one heck of a gauntlet run. You have to do it in a single go. If you leave the room they all reset.)

So now I had time to read the story, and it sounds very interesting! It's good writing. Though I won't read the story itself, spoilers obviously.

That is true. If I had to rate the spoiler content, I'd probably give it about 40%. They utilize a lot of old and new data. (far as the series time line is concerned.) A bit lower, if you don't count the "unproven facts."

Good job with the art! I've read the story, and it's stuff like this that makes visualising the scene easier.

I actually got a reply from the author of that story. While it doesn't looked exactly like he pictured it, he still think it looks mad cool, and maybe even some things he likes better. It was flattering. He also said to pass along his thanks to the reviewers of the picture. So he thanks you to!

You do have to be careful with the skin. no lie. But I'm sure you'd do just fine.
Thanks. The background took me a bit to get right. I had to try a few things to get the right shading and effect.

Well, for this background, first I found a good screen shot, and took the colors I needed from it directly. But even so, I messed with my brush settings.
I used a more firm brush for solid objects, like the armor, and stones. But for some of the lighting effects, I reduced the opacity on the brush for doing the background titles. But for that soft green effect, I used more of an airbrush type, which I think worked pretty well. But remember, with the opacity down, you will get darker colors when you overlap on a different stroke. Which, is actually how I did the green effect on those hexagon disks. I had to redo it several times before I got it to look right, but it was worth the time and effort.

Thank you! Capturing that background alone was a feat and a half. ^^ It is one of the most obscure backgrounds in the series I think.
