'Not too close 'cause you'll kill me, not too far 'cause I'll die.'Reference for the title - Cold Blooded by The Pretty Reckless.
Sort of in a hurry, had to get this out of my hard drive before it dies on me and I'm supposed to be studying for my finals.
Not a big fan of Frozen - I prefer Tangled - just loved the idea of these two together. ^_^
And yeah, no shading because YOLO -_- jk, I'm lazy.
I know I have notes and stuff to reply, just give me some time ;-;

Though honestly, Elsa is my least favorite character in Frozen (le gasp; I know that's not a popular opinion). It's not necessarily her fault, though. The writers just didn't pay much attention to her, and when they did, it was pretty repetitive (sure, I got why, but I wasn't engaged by what little personality there was shown). Anna was like Frozen's key and Elsa was like her keyhole; felt uneven. So my reaction was more of a default indifference to the latter sister. Yet I love fanart of her, like this.

Hard to ship, yes. But not impossible. I mean, how many times has the Joker tried to kill Harley? John Smith was gonna kill Pocahontas when he first saw her, look at Jigsaw and Amanda from the Saw movies, the never-ending Kigo, Batman and Catwoman, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, just to name a few.
Itβs not a normal and common kind of pairing, the mind's eye is more than necessary to see these two together. Which is nice because it makes them even more interesting as characters. Just my opinion though.

I think the difference (or the disconnection) is the fact that there is no external layer to Hans' motives, or back-pedaling against the canon fact that he is the murderous villian who feels nothing for her other than an opportunity to be King (the writers have been trying to shake the public opinion that he's something more than that), so it's not a John Smith/Mr. and Mrs. Smith parallel. And emotionally mature Elsa is certainly no Harley.Β
However, with some creative license and inventing some layers that aren't canonically there in neither Hans, Elsa, nor the actual plot, this is so damn interesting. >v>; I must say.

I know people have tried to make him a bit more... innocent? by giving him an awful past and horrible siblings, and that's how I see it too. Hence, my liking of the ship 
And it is! There's a lot to create based on the ship ^3^

I personally can't see it that way, because the writers have openly chalked him up to having inborn sociopathy. If everyone who had an unfit childhood was Hans, we'd all be trying to kill queens with pleasure and plot our rise to power, IMO, but most of us aren't; I sure aren't; that's a mark -- or an agitation -- of something inside one's psyche, nonetheless something that was already there. Giving Hans a break is uneven.
Hans was definitely there to show that a pleasant nature can be hiding an untrustworthy, genuinely cruel one to break "trusting princes" traditions, so him representing that archetype is why I don't think it fitting for the writers to create such a pairing; an unpredictable pairing has to still have some grounding in reality.Β
For me, I just like AU, un-canon Helsa where Hans is fanfictionalized (him having shards of the mirror in him, or the original Hans, who was meant to be the good hero who thawed Elsa's heart <-- I actually can outright ship the latter, because that was going to be canon, so I stick with those Helsa's).Β

My nieces Ellie and Megan love Tangled and they make me watch it with them every time they come over. Next time Uncle Jack picks the movie and it will be Frozen! Also nice picture by the way lol.
