Hey guys, found this file mostly colored while organizing my computer, I can't finish it yet because of commission work but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good water tutorials? I cropped it because the background still needed a LOT of work but I wanted to have Xena up to mid thigh in water, and I can't say too much else about the back ground but... Just curious if anyone could maybe help me out. I'd love to finish this picture when I have time but it's going to take forever with the way my current skills are. I don't typically draw water in my images (at least not MS Paint) just because off how difficult I find it to do. If you know of any tutorials, MS Paint or otherwise please link me. Very beautiful concept Kira.....hmmm.....what coloring program are you using? If it's photoshop then maybe I have a technique. If you look at my picture here [link] it's simply a 50% opacity layer of blue for the foreground, a darker blue gradient for the background water (as if the water gets deeper towards the horizon) and airbrushed white for the water ripples at about a 30% spray flow. Each ripple has it's own layer so that it can be individually modified to the preferred shape. Creating the "rat-tailed effect" on the ripples is done with the eraser tool set to a brush mode. I hope this helps you complete the amazing picture!

She did in the earlier seasons, several guys actually... Including Hercules. But they later hinted to her being soul mates with Gabrielle.

I knew about Hercules but not the others (I didn't watch XWP that much) but yeah it all comes clear now

Yeah, there were... Erm, a lot towards the beginning seasons. haha. And they honestly don't ever officially pair her with Gabrielle but the hinting becomes more and more obvious towards the end of the show. Then in the last season it's really obvious and even the actors admit it. xD
