he is an animal, without morality or reason, he does not discriminate between right and wrong, there fore neutral, and he is undoubtedly "evil" as he tries to kill his friends

well, I had a hard time filling the slots and I didn't want to use any twice, I know I did with death note but I didn't notice until the end XD
and TBH gantz is meant to be neutral between the humans and the aliens, and kohta was trying to protect humanity whilst not siding with either side
