Here is the result of my first attempt at leather burning. Yay!I was wandering around on Etsy one day, admiring all the nerdy Zelda goodness, when I came across this [link] leather cuff. I loved it so much, but sadly lacked the funds to buy it... so since I happened to have some decent leather laying around, and access to a leather burning tool, I decided to make myself one instead
.I realize there are some problems with it, and there's a couple places where I "went out of the lines", so to speak, with the leather burning tool, but I'm fairly pleased with it considering it's a first attempt.

I think it probably would work, though there may be less control over what sorts of things you can draw since you can't use different size/shape tips like you can on a wood/leather burning tool. My leather burning tool was a gift so I dunno how much they cost, but I'd imagine they're not too expensive, and you can probably get them at craft or hobby stores
