so this is pretty cool! you paid a lot of attention to the details on their clothing which is good I think. shows dedication (or appreciation but hey who says those two cant go hand in hand)
their body language and expressions are also rather interesting in terms of the piece. it seems like astrid is a bit bashful here and hiccup is pretty confident/comfortable in what he's wearing (although that's just my interpretation of the piece and I'm curious to see what the intended vibe we were supposed to get from them was)
Astrid looks really nice in green she should wear it more often.

alskdnflsn but thank you so much ;A; hardly anybody analyzes my dumb drawings anymore, so this is really special. my intention was that both of them think it's pretty silly, so that's probably why astrid might look bashful, but at the same time they're probably telling each other that this is how they should dress from now on because they don't look half bad! and they're both very confident and happy. it's almost an honor to wear each other's uniforms. i made a companion piece of their younger versions clothes-swapping and they're much more embarrassed…well hiccup is. probably because he'd want to do astrid's uniform justice and he doesn't think he can. when they're older, though, he knows he can rock that skirt.
