The Hidden Blade is the BEST weapon in Assassins Creed! (in MY opinion anyway. . .) I mean come on! ANYONE can stab a person. But it takes SKILL to do it with a knife that slides out of your sleeve XD!ENJOY PEEPS!!! ^^

You fools! in the game there is no ring to activate it it is just by hand movement in the game ezio's hand is flexed when he activates it and it is relaxed when he isn't

It can be used in combat in the first game. Its really hard to master though especially seeing as you can't block and have a small window of opportunity to counter.
Oh, and you can only counter, not attack.

X3 im pretty sure my face was priceless caus she laughed at me for the next five mintues... XD well hopefully they get moving so the ending to Revaltations doesnt seem enteirly random, and we can all fianlly understand...

I'm usually anti-violence/killing/gore, but I have to admit, the hidden blade is truly the most revered weapon EVAR! EVerytime I go and 'asassinate' my friends, I sneak up behind em and go "Shing!" and they're like: "Oh darn it, I's been killed" XD!

Well, it's a little complicated. But it involves the blade stuck to the top of a spring and the blade is blocked by a little block, there will be a string tied to the block and one of the users fingers. when the string is pulled the block will slide out of the way of the blade leaving it to spring out. there will be a handle that will allow the user to pull the blade back down and when it is down the block should just slip back into place.

I'm making one myself. What I did was to have three sections, the base with a small metal hook(A), the supporting slide(B), and the slide with the blade and a hook ring(C).
(A) will have a spring to connect it to (B) and a spring to connect (B) to (C) then have a string and ring tied somewhere on (C) to pull via the ring on the finger.
What happens is when the string is pulled, is that (B) and (C) are extended forward, revealing the blade and having the hook ring on (C) to latch onto a small metal hook at the top of (A) causing it to lock. By pulling on the string again, the hook ring releases causing the springs to pull (B) and (C) back in place.
