Ashwings are medium sized dragons living in a volcanic biome on the islands of Effire. Living in the skorching heath, they became so used to it they gainined an immunity to fire and lava. They sometimes go in the mainland, mostly in the desert, because the other biomes are too cold for them.

Their scales are as hard as obsidian. Their scales are small and skin like whit tiny lighter grey dots and belly. Their horns are small and round. Their wings are small whit vibrant lava colours on the inside. Their tails are split and are used for balancing on the instble volcanic lands.

The males use their wings to impress females by waving them around and dancing(a lot like paradise birds) The female chooses the most flashy and best dancing males. The females usually lay 1-3 eggs in lava ponds dug by the male. They choose a mate for life.

Their king and queen live in a palace carved on the side of the main volcano. The other members are in 2 groups: highlander and riverside. Highlanders are living on smaller volcanos and concidired mid class. The riversiders are lower class dragons and live near the rivers flowing everywhere on the skorched lands. The classes are not in the way of any interactions its just a representation of where they live.

They are onivorus. There are wierd plants and fish near the edge of the island. The Schorcher tree grows a glowing hot fruit that has a really hard shell. Most of the fish live in the hot springs located under the island.

Physical fights are very rare, but dance fighting is an everyday activity mostly for dragonets and solving differences. Dance fighting is deeply in their culure. Every celebration they have there will be a dancefighting.
