Also, e2046 is the only place I know of that has the RO figures available. [link]
Hobby Fan has these two kits, but they're usually in "Pre Order" status as well. [link]

If this is going to be your first resin kit, then this might be difficult. The eBay kits are usually not in the best shape. Perhaps go to e2046 and buy a different kit, build it, and learn what it's like to put together a good kit before starting on something complex like this.
However, if you insist on starting with this kit, here's some things to consider.
-Bent or misshapen parts: I used a hair dryer to heat the parts until I could bend them. If you can buy a heat gun from a hobby store, this would probably work better.
-Holes, divots, and parts that don't fit together: I used Modeling Putty to fill in major holes and joints [link] or Squadron Green modeling putty. [link]
-For sanding: Just use regular sandpaper. Start with whatever grit you need, but finish it with a 500+ grit, or else you will see scour marks.
-Paint: I used Tamiya Paints in an airbrush. [link] I suggest acrylic paint (which can be cleaned up using water). If you plan to use an airbrush, don't forget to mix a little water into your paint. Otherwise, the paint will be too thick and might get stuck in your airbrush. Generally I add 1 drop of water for 5 drops of paint.
Other than that, good luck. I hope things work out for you. Let me know when you finish the project!

I rarely play anymore, but when I do, it's usually on a private servers (currently RebirthRO). However, I did play iRO a lot back in 2002-2005, when the game was new.

For the large area, yes. I used a paint brush and a steady hand to do the eyes, most of the armor and the finer details.

If you ever feel brave and want to try making a RO resin kit, might I suggest this one...

It's cheap, but also the parts go together very well (they hide the joints, thats a good thing for beginers)
