This is kind of an addition to my stamp:
Somehow, some people seems to think, that just because you like Wolf's Rain, you must be a wolfaboo?
Yeah, i know that Wolf's Rain is a kind of 'bible' for wolfaboos, but i will say that you can definately watch the series and like it, without being a wolfaboo.
Yes, it is wolfaboo themed that four wolves who can speak, is seaching for paradise, and that many people are mean against theese creatures.
But the wolfhunter in the movie acutally have a reason to kill wolves.
And yeah, i know wolves aren't like that in the truth
Wolves are for me just pretty animals that i like :3 They aren't some kind of god to me. And i definately does not think that the series does place the wolves as some kind of gods. They are normal mortal creatures. Even through they can speak and change to human form. But still...All in all. You can after my opinion both see and love Wolf's rain and its characthers without suddenly being some kind of obessing fan
If you are going to discuss this topic with me, then please do it mature and not flaming like some kind of idiot.

I LOVED Balto, it was a heart warming story, I liked Alpha and Omega... I like lots of "wolfaboo" stuff. And yet... if I were to say that... Many people would think of me as a wolfaboo. I don't like wolfaboos, though. They're horrible.

I like Wolf's Rain, but I do think it is a little overrated. The premise is interesting, the idea of wolves giving off a human projection instead of just transforming into humans was very clever, the animation is beautiful, and the soundtrack is one of the best I've heard anywhere, but I found the main cast of wolf characters seemed to be very bland and flat. They weren't very dynamic, and what tiny sparks of character development there were seemed forced and sudden.
And I'm still trying to figure out that puzzling ending. Were they all reincarnated as real humans? Are they werewolves instead of just wolves giving off physic projections of being human? Was Blue not reincarnated simply because she's only half wolf?
I loved Darcia, though, and Quent's death made me tear up a little. I also found the relationship between Hubb and Cher to be very touching.
