Vash the Stampede is probably the last person who will tell you he has a beautiful body.

I've always seen a lot of beauty in the character's scars because he "earns" them by helping people and by refusing to kill. To me, there is a lot of spiritual beauty there.

Anyway, the story of this piece is that Vash got hurt again, shot in a couple of places protecting random, innocent bystanders from a group of robbers. He's laid up and rather bored, gazing out the window wishing he could go outside. He feels like he can get up and get out, but he knows that if he does, Meryl will chew him out and Milly will give him her sad-puppy eyes. He doesn't want to worry the girls, so he's letting himself rest and heal.

As boring as it is.
