I love this little guy! This is Tiberius, the Triquetra dragon. He was originally going to have a pretty standard celtic knot look, made with the same sparkly black premo as my other knot work. As He progressed, I realized I wanted a more metalic, steampunkish look. I used pearlex pigments for the effect.
There are many meanings to the triquetra. To me, it symbolizes the maiden, mother, and crone. Past, present, and future. Protection. I have one tattooed on my ring finger, as does my husband, as our wedding rings.
