"Interesting... Really... Interesting."

(Y/N) moved in-and-out of the kitchen as she was preparing dinner for both she and her toxic lover; Jim Moriarty.

He, in turn, paced around the floor with a look of surprise. Jim looked like he had unraveled a secret to be kept for ages, but was soon to be exploited by his genius.

They were an unlikely pair. Seeing that Miss (Y/L/N) merely worked as a harmless accountant, and yet she was tied down to the world's only consulting criminal.

People believed her to be one of his victims at a heist in one of his most eager accomplishments of raiding a local firm for a debt yet to be paid that same day.

What they didn't know was, Jim was simply fascinated with the brilliant, young woman whose will was stronger than anyone else he had ever known.

He walked around the marble floor of their penthouse and sat on one of the breakfast counter stools, looking at her intently.

"What is, dear?"

"You sure read a lot, don't you?"

"It keeps me occupied." She smiled at the sudden interest in literature, something he never saw as important. "One of the many pleasures of life that doesn't come from you."

"Oh, yes. I figured that bit out." Jim mumbled lowly under his breath.

"Say, my love, what have you been reading lately?"

Her cheeks suddenly stained red at his innocent question. "A romance novel. Nothing huge."

His tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth and shook his head disappointingly. "Now, lying will get you nowhere."

Slowly, his hand raised to reveal her phone with the title page frozen on its screen.

"Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James"

She has been preoccupied about the novel and it left her flustered to have seen it clutched so tightly, so angrily in her lover's hand.

"Clever of you to have hidden it in a PDF file, but not clever enough." He spat as the phone landed on the counter with a loud thump, the screen was sure to be cracked. "Am I not enough?"

"Heavens no!" She said in defense as she stood behind him, hugging him tightly from behind. "It's never been like that."

Jim stood up and faced her. The rage that swam in his eyes were enough to drown her, yet something else was beneath that; it was pure lust, want and need.

"Oh, honey. Heaven won't do you much once I'm done with you." As they were close enough to breathe in each other's air supply, Jim couldn't resist it.

In mere seconds, his lips captured hers and they were locked in a rough, passionate kiss that seemed to last for hours.

He broke the kiss and tauntingly whispering in (Y/N)'s ear, his grip on her waist tightening.

"Now, let's see how a real life Dominant plays, shall we?"

With a final, teasing bite on her earlobe, Jim laid her on top of the counter and let's just say that dinner was meant to go another way than the usual grilled chicken, but far more delectable.
